I joined GetGloby in 2022 as Head of Design and UX, the first product hire, reporting to the CTO and CPO. The product started as translation and localization services. The work ran with teams across the U.S. and Europe.
I redesigned the platform from an early MVP into a product teams could run. That meant a cohesive brand, a design system, and a backlog that engineering, product, and design could share. I also built the design team from the ground up.
From MVP to product
I led the design function for GetGloby’s translation and localization services. We kept interactions intuitive, kept a culture of user feedback, and looked at new ways to make marketing assets accessible across languages.
I built the product design practice from the ground up: standards, rituals, and a working relationship with engineering. Jaga — the product identity for the transcreation engine — was part of that same work.
After the acquisition
That foundation supported the acquisition by MotionPoint and the move into Marketfully, where GetGloby’s technology now lives inside Marketfully.AI.
I stayed through the path from MVP to acquisition, then into the platform as it became part of a larger marketing group. The product changed name and shape. The job did not: keep the experience clear enough that global teams could actually use it.
