Centric Digital was a long stretch of product and interface work for enterprise and startup clients. I joined as a UI designer and left as a Senior Product Designer, working from Mendoza and later New York.

The through-line was the same: take complex, often regulated products and make them usable enough to ship — websites, apps, and brand systems for teams that already had a lot of surface area.

Clients and work

I designed web and app projects for AIG, Kaiser Permanente, and Humana, and worked on brand identities for startups including Dear Jack and Premo. I also led the rebranding of Dummies, a system that had to hold up across a catalog with more than 200 million books in print and 2,500 titles.

A lot of the enterprise work lived in workshops and global code-a-thons, especially with AIG’s international teams. The job was as much alignment as interface: get design, engineering, and stakeholders onto one version of the product.

What carried forward

Seven years of client work is where the later product roles were built. Design systems, research, and the habit of translating requirements for engineering all started here — then scaled at GetGloby and Marketfully.
